    Hey guys,

Started looking for a pistol recently and settled on a M1911A1 Operator.
The pictures on this other thread are exactly what I'm looking for especially the silencer attachment capability.

Any ideas where I could get one? I've been looking and haven't had much luck, I saw one that uses 8mm bb's I'd prefer to use the regular 6mm.

    Thanks a million!

Welcome to the world of custom build.

You won't get that exact piece as an out-of-the-box gun, but you can make it relatively easy, and replicate it even easier. It will cost you about €200-300 though.

Pick your base model - you have the choice between Co2 powered (KWC, KJW or WE), Green Gas (TM, KJW, KWC, WE, WA etc), and a whole load of different variables and models within the range. If you go the TM route, and want a metal body, that will add a substantial amount to the overall cost, as well as more complication to the build. If I were doing it myself, here's what I'd do:

    - KJW 1911A1 Co2 (base model)
    - KJW KP-05 slide
    - KJW KP-06 rear sight
    - KJW 1911A1 internals
    - KJW KP-05 trigger
    - Firefly hop up rubber (soft)
    - PDI Precision barrel
    - WE 1911 barrel + screw-in threaded tip (silver)
    - Madbull Blackside Gemtech silencer
    - Spartan Doctrine Spring guide + plug set here
    - VFC V1911 Illuminator (because I prefer this to the surefire light)

I would guess that using approximate retail values, and being overly cautious, that this build would cost about €290 - 300. You can do it cheaper, and also much more expensive. All depends on what YOU want out of it...but you're going to have to build it

I'm starting the exact same project.

    - I've just finished Snakes Custom M4 ...took me ages!
    - will post pictures very soon.!

I've chosen the KJW 1911 PD as the base for m4 operator.

    Cheers for the help!
Done a bit of digging around and the part above is the only I haven't been able to find. Any suggestions?

Looking forward to seeing photos of that M4 too man, was wondering how long it would take someone to figure out that the 1911 wasn't a very original choice ;)

I have it from a couple of WE 1911's I have. But for most original parts, I'd go direct to manufacturer. Just send WE an email with the part number (found in exploded diagrams), and ask them for a quote for the part + shipping
