Does he like me back?

I'm a 16 year old girl and I was at a ball last night with my friend, her boyfriend and his friend. He was really quiet for the first 2 hours and once I started talking to him he came out of his shell. When my other friends dragged me up to dance I said I wanted him to come with me and he did. He started a conversation as well and we were smiling as well. I was asking him if he played sports and he told me he plays football but he also told me he had a match tomorrow. What do you think? By the way I've never had a boyfriend before.

From the way you've described it I'd say it sounds like he does like you, yes. Have you thought of asking your friend to pass the word via her boyfriend that you had a nice time, and that you'd like to get to know his friend better?

Maybe, maybe not. You haven't given enough information really about how he acted.

Well it was my first time meeting him and my friend knew him already. She told me he was really funny and never stops talking normally. Before we went in to the ball she said he was acting really weird and when he went to the bathroom the other people at our table asked if he talks at all. But once I started talking to him he was grand.

I dont think based on that he likes you any more than i would like anyone i would talk to you.

I do think you should try and talk to a lot more people though especially boys. It will help you read signals better and you will be confident enough to trust your own judgement.
