Just this morning accepted my offer @UL for LM055 (business with Japanese) and am thrilled.

Just wondering, as an incoming first year I was told you can not pay the fee's (as i cant afford them) and bring in proof from the VEC that the fee's will be paid, is this true? How do I get it?

Have you applied for the grant? And have the VEC said they're going to give you the grant? All you need is proof of that.

i have applied (over a month ago) but i have not being told i will get it, however i am well under the criteria for the grant with a dependancy on the parents with very , very low income.

I do have a letter saying my grant app is now being processed?

you will have to pay 72 euro and whoever your getting the grant off to write you a letter saying you are getting the grant. they are very busy this time of year and you'll gave to call in to get a letter (they didnt send me one so called in in the end and got it)
also for the first month or so expect to queue for at least a hour for the office in the college.
