The three web adresses to the left is just one big image with no links?

For the moment the banner is just an image but will soon be able to redirect you to the addresses mentioned (as soon as the IT guy is back form his holiday). In the meantime, all those links are in the right sidebar of the homepage.

The website is far too plain for my liking ... sorry :/

I think it looks pretty good. :) Lots of information there. And I disagree about it being too plain, I think it's better kept plain. If I was a nervous fresher who wasn't out and was looking at the site I'd be much more put off if it was covered in rainbow flags and big glittery letters and whatnot.

Damn sight better than the UCC one anyway; that thing gets updated about twice a year!

When did it become "Q Soc"?

I agree than plain is better, easier to hide if needs be if you're looking up stuff before heading to college in September. Pus less pink is generally better. :p

Also, reading the committee profiles makes me feel old. I'm sure I'll have the dubious honour of walking through front square again this year and being completely ignored by all societies, them assuming I'm a lecturer. :( Any of the ones I join look at me weird when I sign up.

Oh GOD it's my 11th freshers week. Holy crap I need to finish my PhD soon...

Edit: you talk about condoms but no mention of dental dams for girls or using condoms on toys... might be useful to include, because those sections of websites so often just sound like they're written by men for men.

I'm not saying it should be covered in rainbow flags and all pride and glitzy stuff
I'm just saying its a bit on the plain side

We've been working on Q Soc since the new committee was elected at the end of March and it was unveiled a few days ago!

We'll update that section of the website to include dental dams etc very soon.....

    I don't think it's plain at all - I think it's clean looking

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

Don't think it looks plain at all either. Looks good and is well laid out. Easy to find information etc.
