Clonbullogue Steam Threshing (Co.Offaly)

    Hi All,

    Just to let you know of an event coming up on August 28th, the 38th Clonbullogue Steam Threshing will start with a parade at 2pm. This will start on the Portarlington Rd and go throught the village and up to the field where there will be a host of events. Some of the events include Threshing by Steam Engine, Displays of machinery, vintage cars, tractors and machinery, Baby Show,Dog Show, Games such as bowels, fishing for minerals, mini golf and others.

    There will be an area to park all vintage/classic cars, tractors and equipment in the field.

    Clonbullogue, Co. Offaly is on the R401 between Edenderry and Rathangan, 25 mins from Tullamore, Naas, 20 mins Newbridge, 10 mins Portarlington.

    We would welcome you all to come to support our event which is to raise funds for the local development association which does great work in up-keep of the village.

    Hi Esto,

    I have vintage machinery and can come to Clonbullogue this Sunday.I also have some ferrets,guinea pigs,rabbits,ducks which i could put on display for the kids.My cousin John Joe also might bring his Davy Brown and Super Dexta tractors for the parade.

    Looking forward to it.We always enjoyed this event and weather is to be sunny on sunday.

    No problem, thanks we will be glad to have you for the day. Just to let people know there is no charge for exihibitors to enter the field.

    The event will be opened by the Harvest Queen which will be picked on Sat night in Ritchie Bar all welcome. We will have a gig rig with the legendery Rock on Paddy in the field and in Ritchies Pub after.
