Hey guys just wanted to get some advice on a good Laptop for college. First of all it needs to be easily portable as I will be taking the train everyday. It needs to be powerful and fast, have a dedicated graphics card and well it needs to be as cheap as possible of course. While I will be using it for college I will also be using it as an entertainment PC, so it does need to be a good allrounder. I want it to replace my current Desktop as well as my old Laptop so I know I'm not going to be talking in the low hundreds, but I don't mind as long as I get my moneys worth out of it., Finally no Macs, only PC's please.

Are we talking 1000 here? Or what kind of budget do you have in mind?

When you say entertainment, does that means games? And if so, what games?

Anything up to about €800, yes definately games, usually the heaviest would be the sims 3 but I like to have a little wiggle room.

Bingo! Although check around for cheaper prices, when I bought mine from Amazon it was £579.99

Can't fault it at all, other than the touchpad takes a few days to adjust to
