Hi - anybody know anything about Dublin Bus weekly or monthly tickets? What is the price structure? Any savings, etc? Travelling from UCD to Baggot Street daily....fare currently €1.65.

Unfortunately not - unless you are doing more travelling than that.

The 30 day rambler ticket is EUR 110 which will not offer you any discount on two EUR 1.65 journeys.

The full list of adult pre-paid bus only tickets is here.

Thanks. I'd like to say I'm surprised they don't cater for the commuter who uses the bus for work (ie 10 trips a week)....but I'm not!!

There is a ticket a 10 journey ticket which is valid for 10 different trips, but not really worth your while buying it if you're fare works out @ 1.65 cash..
It's 19 so 1.9 a trip, unless you have to get 2 buses to travel then it is great value..

Sadly sipod, you fall into a category of Bus user which, for some unfathomable reason, the company has decided to enforce a cash-transaction upon.

The only hope of relief for the 165'rs is if that fare is increased  OR if the Integrated Ticketing Project/Smart Wallet.LEAP ticket finally manages to emerge from the bakers oven in consumable format....:)

And it isn't just 1.65rs, it is also 1.20 and 1.85 folk. Basically pretty much everyone inside the M50 really.

Again just goes to show the madness of the current system
