I don't care enough about other people to judge them.

I don't judge people for aiming for high paid jobs.
I just hate people with high paid jobs!

Dont judge all of them but i have one friend who was in a very high paying I.T job before he was let go,this lad was collage till he was 26 and had great prospects ahead, got a great job bought the big car and the big house plus a house in Spain.Lost the job is now up **** creek.
The thing is he has been offered 5 or 6 jobs in the last few months but he wont take them because the salary is under €100,000 and no company car.He sits there day in day out giving out, and now the banks are on his case. One of the jobs had a salary of €55,000 and he turned it down because he said he would not able to live on such a small wage . Sack

So basically you don't have money or status

My brother in law just did his leaving cert.
His first choices were high status courses that would lead to high paying jobs.
His actual preference is way down the list.
It's such a pity because he really lights up talking about that one.

    Again though, I don't judge.
    I just do not understand.

I just think people should aim for what they will be happy doing for 40+ years of their lives and that will bring them satisfaction seeing as they will be spending the most part of their weeks at work.

theres not actually a huge difference in net pay between a 55k salary and a 100k salary

This thread is as retarded as its polar opposite. Live your life op and let others live theirs.

High paid? Low paid? I couldn't give a fúck really and I certainly wouldn't judge someone based on salary scale.

I'd call 20k net difference fairly huge. That's 2k a month. So I disagree with you

For some people their career is their passion.

    Good luck to them.

So long as they're not a hangin bastard.
