Great cars and great engine, Compared to the other 1.6`s its comparable with its got a nice bit of torque and the six speed box is great for cruising. SuperStrut suspension is great when it works, just listen out or any knocks from the suspension, now its not as costly as everyone says but it can be pricey to fix. In saying that ive been in a BZR around mondello and i have to say its one of the best standard suspension setups ive even been in. They are known to use a bit of oil but if you get the right oil this shouldnt be a big problem at all. They dont really perform on Irish dynos due to them not really adapting to our fuel but they are no slouches my mates healthy BZR holds its own against EK9s no bother. Also parts are sourced through any toyota garage easy enough, parts seem very cheap compared to Honda parts anyway :(

Heres a pic i took of my mates BZR, by far the cleanest BZR ive seen, OEM is defintely the way to go with these

A friend has one, its a 99 with around 100k miles on it I think. Its seems like a very tight car, handling is good and it has a great engine, sounds great and has plenty of poke and the 8000rpm redline is nice :D

Been driving one for 3 years. Great car in my opinion, reasonably practical (big boot, climate-control, comfy semi-bucket seats), good enough on juice (I get over 30 mpg, that's not granny driving either), good-looking......
....but most importantly, enormous fun to drive. Great pull out of the engine and with the SuperStrut it corners like a housefly.

I'd tend to go for a standard enough model, a lot of the mods lads do to these actually make them worse - induction kits which lose power, exhausts which do nothing but add noise, bodykits which make it look tacky etc...

Here's mine, just to show off
