Depends on what you mean by 'crazy' prices?

As a wedding musician, people who don't realise what's the usual going rate for musicians / singers often freak out because it can be more expensive than they thought.

But if you give me a guideline, I feasibly have two recommendations for you - both excellent voices. One has a website, where you can listen to him - the other does not but can send you onto him anyway.

Sorry should have said what I thought was crazy price.
My Fiancé thinks €400 is alot of money to spend on it as they are only there for roughly an hour or so & only sing a handful of songs.
I guess because Im on a budget I was shocked when someone quoted me €470

€400 for just the singer is defintiely crazy money.

A good singer should (from my experiences) cost around €200.

However if you were looking for a singer, organist/keyboardist then that'd probably bring it to around €350 or so - and then throwing in an instrumentalist would be around the €450 or so mark.

BUT, I'll PM you numbers of the two guys i know and hopefully they'll be able to help you out :)

    Hey guys,

My fiance and I are getting married in Galway in June and we're also looking for a male singer for our church wedding.

Who did you get for your wedding Nikki79? Would you recommend them?

    Cheers.

    Hi wrmwit,

I actually ended up going with a female singer!
I got "The Brennan sisters" & would 100% recommend them. My sis who was bridesmaid reckons they did the best version of "the Prayer" shes ever heard & I have to agree. Fabulous voices! Guests thought they were brilliant too but maybe you have your heart set on a male singer.
If you dont think 470/500 is to expensive then Frank Murphy is brilliant I dont know any other male singers.
