    Earpiece just stopped working.

Anyone know anywhere in Dublin I can get it fixed quick? I heard there are a few Chinese shops that do repairs. It's under warranty, but don't want to leave it in, as it'll take ages & I need it.

    Thanks!

I presume this is on the headphones/earphones? If so, make sure that there isn't some paper or lint in the headphone jack - this can obstruct the connections and prevent it connecting fully and working.

Check the top mic isnt covered/blocked
See hole to the left of headphone socket in pic

Also have you tried a soft reset(holding the home and lock button for 20seconds), iPhones can do strange things sometimes.

If its the earpiece at fault, I can do it, €40 supply/fit

No, it's the earpiece you listen to when on a phonecall - beside the facetime camera.

Just tried a soft reset - no joy.

Will blast the headphone socket with compressed air & see how it goes.

Can't connect to your website, Cathal!

    Thanks!

    Firewall problem?

    What about my Adverts.ie page?

    Firewall problem?

    What about my Adverts.ie page?
It's working now - may have been my wifi.

Anyway - the earpiece just started working again an hour ago - weird...

Thanks for the tips though, guys. And Cathal - site duly noted for future reference. :)
