Living in Dublin as a non-drinker??

Myself and the girlfriend are moving to Dublin from Cork in a few weeks. I don't drink any more and she drinks very little but we still like going out and socialising. Cork is just ok for non-drinkers, a good few gigs on during the summer, only two late-night cafes, the occasional good thing on the theatres and some nice pubs that serve good coffee and are good for having a chat.

I was wondering how Dublin would compare in this regard? I'm hoping that we'll have more options for things to do at the weekends just due to the fact that Dublin is much bigger so there's bound to be more going on. All advice welcome.

I don't know about Cork city, I haven't spent any time there not drinking, but Dublin has an awful lot to offer. The Gaiety, The National Concert Hall, the Grand Canal Theatre, The Ambassador, The Olympia, The Peacock, The Abbey, the Cafés, the restaurants. The collages (Trinity, the Helix, etc...) and the arts centers have great stuff on too. Another massive advantage to you not drinking is the ability to drive and eat, visiting those out of the way restaurants in Wicklow and the Dublin hinterlands.

(Hunters in Wicklow and Ballyknocken! Yum!)

I moved from the country to Dublin.

    I don't drink.

There is LOADS to do in Dublin.

A never ending list of things to do!!

You won't regret it and you won't want to leave!!

As a drinker who is becoming increasingly bored of drinking (well, more the drinking culture than drinking itself) I'm always looking for alternative things to do in the city, but find it really hard to get people to join me for anything that's not boozing.
Do you non-drinkers find this a problem? Maybe its just my social circle...

If you're on the oul' bookface, check this group out, it's updated quite regularly and I've gotten quite a few good ideas for things to do from it.
