    I would imagine most people on boards.ie, especially AH, spend a large amount of time on the internet on a daily basis - I know I do. I'm a regular poster on boards motors, boards classic cars, a number of other motoring websites and of course AH. Consequentially I receive a shedload of emails alerting me to thread responses. If you had asked me yesterday how many emails I receive a day from various websites I would have guessed about 60 / 70. I went through my emails over a 24 hour period (Friday) and I have actually received bang on 300 emails, 52 of which were not from boards.ie.

    Scary stuff! :eek::eek::eek:

    Well if I did that I wouldn't know that you had replied to this thread! :p

    I could do that of course but that's not the point of this thread, rather counting up a days emails made me realise that I spend a ridiculous amount of time online most days.

    I do, but in fairness it's a better alternative to the sh!te i'd have to watch on tv.

    Definitely. However, I spend most of my time reading articles and learning about stuff I would never know about if it wasn't for the internet. I don't see it as wasted time but time well spent. My time (not all that much, it's good for a break from articles, vids etc.) on boards.ie is mostly wasted though as I generally just post crap and read crap.

    I certainly have this weekend and probably do in general. I often wonder what my life would be like if the internet weren't around.

    ye definitely, but I don't have much better to do with myself atm. And anytime I'm thinking about something else or trying to do something else, internet is still my port of call so it's a catch 22.
