just a quick question re the title. i was under the impression that said dogs were born without tails? and that they were ruby and white in colour? am i way off the mark? there is an ad on donedeal at the minute and the pups seem to be black and white and ruby and white and all seem to have tails.
im not trying to rubish the ad im just asking out of curiosity.

    thanks.

the tails are docked normally on brittany spaniels. but because of docking bans in other european countries youll see it not being done so they can be sold abroad. as for the colour weve had a couple of different variants. they can be black, white, liver and orange. some are tri colours and some just the two

I have a ten year old Brittany dog whit no tail, the first two tailless pups were born in Pontou in Brittany France in 1850

Mine doesn't have a tail either. I think it's just a variety, she's tricolour too.
