What with the "summer" holidays coming to an end, I am wondering whether anyone can advise on the best place to go for a 5 year old boy & 3 year old girl to get a haircut (only a trim for each).

Are there any mid-week deals with barbers/hairdressers?

Well there is that kid specific place Kranky Kuts on the Sean Mulvoy Rd. I use Fat Tony's. Never had a deal.. costs something like €10-12.

The lads in One Step Ahead on Abbeygate St are very good, while i was waiting last week they had two kids probably same ages as yours getting their haircuts and then they get an ould lollipop after.

Sure what's wrong with cutting around a pudding bowl in the kitchen ... 'twas good enough in MY day!
