    Just wondering how many hours a week Media Studies usually has

    About four or five :) Two hours of practical TV/Radio production, then two to three hours of lectures, depending what year you're in.

    They seriously only get 5 hours a week? The least I've ever heard in a week is 11. :eek::P

    You have to do two other subjects with Media Studies in first year though, so it ends up being about that :)

    And I did German, which has like 10 hours a week by itself, as well as Media and English, so it was a lot more than that. Languages are a killer with tutorial hours!

    Agreed! I did Irish and French in first year, and I had as many hours as any science student!!!
