Laptop for College

    So I'm starting in college in a few weeks, hopefully doing medicine, otherwise some science course, and my old laptop just died last week so I need to invest in a new one. Was thinking of going for a MacBook, what are people's thoughts on this besides the price? What other laptops would you recommend?

    Get one if you can afford it, but there are some great windows laptops that offer comparable performane or better at a fraction of the price.
    Do you game or want an ultra-portable ect ?
