Wedding Dress from online sites?

I know there is some threads here about this but they are a little old. Would like some uptodate feed back on buying your dress online..

Has anyone bought there dress online and how did they fine the experience? What site did you use? how was the online photo vrs dress that arrived?

I seen allot of ppl said they tried on the dress and then searched the dress online and bought it, how did you get the details of the dress from the store in Ireland? all the store gave me was the name of the dress but no designer details etc

Can't help you with buying online, but when you are in a shop, the name of the dress and designer should be on the tag. Sometimes they write an abbreviation of it (probably to stop people buying online) but it is easy to work out the designer and make thanks to the help of google. I did find my dress much cheaper online but I was short of time so did not order it online.

Also, some dresses can be a lot cheaper in the UK. Might be worth a cheap flight over one weekend.

Thanks Monife for your reply.... I tried looking at the tag but all that was on it was the price / size and then the name of the dress for example "Athens"?? couldnt get the designers name or anything? any suggestions?? thanks

All I know is when I found "the dress", the name on the tag was "Rom." and the style was "Montana" so I googled that I found the my dress was a "Romantica Montana" and the designer was "Romantica of Devon".

ah thats the diff, there was more info on your tag... all that was on this tag was athens!! ea dress was the same !!!

Does the shop have a website? If it does it might have a picture and the name of the designer or if it just has a list of designers you could look up their websites.

Hi there,
I purchased my wedding dress online and was very happy!
I purchased it from www.dhgate.com.
Took about 6 weeks for me to get the dress from the time I paid for the dress until I received the dress.
Was perfect, exactly the same as the genuine dress(apart from the price tag):)

went wedding dress shopping today in another place and found a dress i really like. this time i remembered to look at the tag and the designer is Mark Lesley. On the dress it said its "Chloe" but when i looked at the Mark Lesley site it was "Eve" ive googled this and cant seem to get up a price !! and cant seem to find Mark Lesley on any of the china sites !!?

My dress only arrived 3 months ago, I also ordered it from Dhgate so the thread is quite current. There's some other posters who have posted good experiences there too

As others have said when you try the dress on any shop I went to gave you the name of the dress and the designer. Can you try a different shop that stocks the designer and see if they have any details?
