    Hi,

I was just wondering whether Shanowen Square was suitable for postgrads or whether it was mainly 1st/2nd year students that stayed there?

Also, in looking for accommodation near DCU what are the main areas that people are looking at? Santry? Drumcondra?

    Thanks!

I think your right about Shanowen, that it probably would'nt be the best for a postgrad but I'm open to correction.

In terms of areas around DCU. I considered places like Whitehall and Glasnevin as well as Drumcondra. Found a nice place in Whitehall in the end. There's plenty of accomodation going, just a matter of getting around to view places. You can get both houses and rooms in houses quite easily. Daft is probably the handiest to search.

Probably not the best for postgrads but I know some that lived in Shanowen Hall last year and they didn't complain about it.

About this time last year I was househunting and I enquired if they had any space left in their postgrad block and they had so I had it as a back up if I didnt find a house, but luckily I did.
