    I have trouble meeting and talking to people in real life. i came onto boards to try and make some online friends but have had some hostile posts and pms directed at me from some users (one in particular). i have pm'ed a mod but have not got a reply yet. i feel isolated even online now. any help? :(

    Perhaps avoid started threads inviting posters to have a bitch-fest about other posters then?

    Compaining about other posters or moderators because you have been banned for trolling from other forums is not within the remit of PI.
