I'm not involved in organising this or member of Slane Athletic Club, doubt if many Boardies are running this tomorrow after there exploits today in the park. But sounds like a good event, am doing it myself so we'll see tomorrow how it goes.

Good race, good tough hilly course that will test your fitness the whole way round. Nice to start and finish with Slane Castle in your eyeline. Race i'd recommend if your looking for a tough 10mile. Decent goody bag and tech t-shirt to. Results up already on Slane AC website.

Well done Slane AC on completely new event. Fine tune a few bits and bobs. Onwards and upwards next year.
Reports good on the 5km course. Out of castle grounds into the village and return thru the woods by the Boyne. Club members got pbs on the 10 miler because they were conservative on first 5 up to Gormanlough and cut loose from the tennis club back to the village and finish. (mostly downhill for last 4 miles).

REMINDER that Tara AC host a 5km in Skryne next Friday evening. Midway between the N2 and the old N3. The next round of Meath Running League.

My first run, was fun, the Drumming group were excellent to keep you moving towards the end.
the road part was hard all up hill.
look forward to the next one
