hey ya anybody know of hill wlaking clubs in and around killarney co kerry i was told that kerlin hackkers are a nice club anybody know of them or have any contacts im only starting out in the hobby

Check out the Mountaineering Ireland website, they have a list of clubs and lots of good advice for beginners.

Think they're all pretty active. I know some of them arrange annual trips abroad to the Alps or Scotland, so it's not your average dormant society meeting once a year stuff. I'd say check the calendar of events on each one to get an idea of what level is expected and how often they go out.
