    Flash crashing is perfectly normal.

but for a high spec lap top only being able to have 4 or 5 tabs in a window doesnt sound right to me

What's that got to do with Flash ? It crashes whenever it feels like ?! Though I have to admit, I've had more than 5 windows open at the time. I'm using OS 10.5.8 on this PowerMac !!

There is a reason Apple don't have Flash on their iPods or iPhones, and barely tolerate it on the Macs.......Overuse of processor, crashing, horrendous battery use......
