New concept from Detroit. Big rumours that it's going to go into production. Very nice car. Love the art deco styling on it. Quite possibly the first ever Cadillac I'd like to own.

Wouldn't do too well with the weather here I'd say though.

I think it's utterly gorgeous, fcuk being restrained and just go for it.
It's bold, daring, unusual, edgy, flash, even vulgar and I love it!
All the reasons the Irish will hate it, that and the fact it isn't a Corolla.

It's French for sky, presumably an allusion to it being convertible. Many Cadillacs have French names given its origin. Perhaps someone should teach the yanks to pronounce it caddy-YACK.

Have to say I feel that the Cadillac 16 from a few years ago has more of a bling feel to it. Look at the wheels on it.

Cadillac design some fantastic looking cars IMO. So much bolder then the reserved German and even Japanese brands.

This is the one for me...




Styling that could hardly be more agressive,
556hp, 551lb/ft of torque,
Handling, spec and quality to match any european brands,
Fasted accelerating production saloon in the world,
Room for the family and shopping,
Not German.......

I've also heard that they are going to go ahead with a production version of the Converj.

They could fit the 1.3cdti, then everyone would buy it, regardless of its cost, once the tax was low.:P

The windscreen looks similiar in shape to the 76 Eldorado convertible



and those rear fenders look like 74-76 Deville/Fleetwood



Thought I had seen this concept similiarity before.....with the opposition....



but would be better off with 500 cu 8.2 litre engine instead....
