Browsing Network via Sony TV

    Hi,

    I've got a new Sony TV (KDL32CX523) that allows browsing of my network.

    While browsing my (PC) shared drive of videos, I noticed that all the folders contents were intermingled from two folders ;- one named 'Movies' and the other named 'Movies_All' .

    It looked like the TV software was reading both folders as one. Of course selecting folder 2 content from within folder 1 gave an error -cant find content to play.

    By renaming one of the folders (Movies-All) to 'MoXXies_All' , the problem was solved. It looks like sony's software is not very robust when it comes to distinguishing folder names :)

    Anybody ever come across an issue like this ?

    Is it a bug or am I doing something wrong ?

    It's solved now, but sits as a trap for others, unless Sony fix it.

    Cannot seem to get an email for sony support :rolleyes:
