Hi all I just jailbroken my iphone 3g yesterday , everything went smooth etc cydia installed but when I insert my sim it constantly looks for a carrier "searching". I was just wondering if anyone else had this problem or if there is an app in cydia I need, thanks :)

Edit : Iphone spelt like an idiot in the title

Make sure you install ultrasn0w from Cydia you might need to add a source just google it if you do ", that's the unlock getting Cydia is part one!

theres no way to unock that unless you install the ipad baseband 06.15.00
beware that doing so will make any future restore in itunes impossible unless you use a custom firmware and GPS might not work either

be very carefull updating to 06.15.00, I've seen loads of phone recently getting stuck in recovery loops, or stuck in tethered only mode despite being on 4.3.3 or less
