Probably will have to, I got a combo receiver installed recently and the installer told me that Portlaoise is a bit funny, reception wise. I had to use a UHF grid aerial (stronger) and he pointed out to me that nearly all aerials in my estate were grid aerials, never noticed that before and that a lot of them were point different directions. Mine was pointing at Kippure, I presume othwers were pointing at mount leinster and the like. He said that dependinh whwere you were in town, you'd end up picking up the best reception from a different transmitter. But to answer your question, yes I'd say you will need an outdoor aerial.

    Cheers. What that expensive?

My house has a sky satellite and another aerial, on the chimney. The Sky dish is pointing 90 degrees away from the other aerial. This is square, but with an indent and a pickup like a staellite. Is that a grid aerial or an old MMDS aerial?
