I was just looking at getting tickets for Kerry/Mayo.
In error i went into the Dublin/Donegal and discovered there must be an error on the Kerry/Mayo ticket website as there are no terrace tickets showing up for sale unless it is possible that they are already sold out.

I'm sure it is a genuine error as in this era of fair play etc. i doubt if the powers that be in the gaa would want people from outside the pale to be paying almost double to attend this match in comparasion to the other semi.

    Thanks

They did the same for the Waterford/Kilkenny game as well. They only sell stand tickets on the GAA website (via tickets.ie) but you can still get terraced tickets for both games on Ticketmaster or through the clubs.

It really does need to be looked at because it caused some newspapers to report that terrace tickets for our game were either sold out or that the Hill isn't opening at all. I know I was very close to getting stand tickets because the Indo were reporting that the terrace wasn't open, and they were going by what they were seeing on gaa.ie

A little off topic but how hard would it be for someone not associated with a aclub to get a ticket for the Football final

Depends on if your county is playing in the minor or senior as in those cases all the local clubs will get extra allocations. Best thing to do is ring a few of your local clubs and tell them of your interest.

Ask everyone starting now, you'll get a ticket if you put out feelers in time.

I find it interesting that i posted a question and i find that instead of getting a reply i get a question??

I am a club member and a few years ago i got semi tickets locally, i have being going to Croke park for nearly 100 years now and for some reason the local club had tickets on row 2 of the lower cusack pretty close to the end line and they were the worst tickets i ever had.
I would not ask what ticket i was getting locally as i thought the reason tickets were sold online was so if the tickets were not suitable a person could choose nnot to purchase same

Can you give me some idea as to why the tickets are not available on the gaa website.

    Thanks

There may be tickets available but there not on the gaa ticket sales website which is what the original post was asking about.

    Thanks

    What's the difference?

The tickets are not available locally therefore i have no access to these tickets as it was a contributor who said they were available but did'nt say where.
It is possible they are only sold in Dublin as "the hill" is normally reserved for them.
If you can advise as to how i can get same i will be most greatful.

    Thanks

What will the attendance be at this. Any chance of tooling up and getting tickets for the stand?
