    Hi,

    I love playing the boardgame risk but can't find anyone to play with!
    so i am stuck to online gaming.

    are there any risk tournaments held in ireland?

    Really wish there was, but I haven't heard of anything.
    Only possibilities I know of are the gaming societies in colleges.
    If you live close to a Uni or IT, might be worth looking into.

    Hrm boardgaming groups are rare enough outside colleges. If your near dublin city centre, drop into GamersWorld just south of the Jervis Luas stop, I know a few gaming groups meet during the weekday evenings and ya might find some players there.

    Think it might be best to grab a copy and rope some friends in, always more fun when you know who your playing with and so your more driven to crush their puny armies into dust and laugh in their faces.

    Would love to take part in any Risk tournament in Ireland, but doesn't seem to be much interest.

    i used to be a member of conquerclub. that was until my wife complained i never spend anytime with her:D.

    what i do thou is every now and again i have a lads night with an indian takeout, beer and the risk board. so i get all 3 fixes at once.

    Jeebus I had to leave that site - in mid-game in about 30 matches so I doubt I'd be welcome back, but I'm actually thankful that that is so.

    I spent ages getting my butt kicked, then something clicked with me and I made it up to a mid-high ranked major and climbing...it was actually damaging my work. I had to stop.

    There's a bunch of us that play every Tuesday/Wednesday evening. We have a league going and all. Great fun altogether. Playing Risk 2210AD
