    Who's your favourite develper/publisher in thr games industry, for me it has to be Valve, every game they touch seems to be gold, also for in depth strategy no one comes near paradox developed games.

    Seeing that I'm making my way through the Third Birthday at the mo I have to say Square Enix. (Even for the Parasite Eve games!).

    Developer wise, hard to narrow down. I'd settle on the big three of Platinum, Treasure and Cave: three developers who make niche, hardcore games and tend to achieve remarkable consistency. All have a handful of failures, but they all make games for their fans that are in lovable contrast to mass-market games of the moment.

    Publisher? At the moment I have a lot of love for Rising Star games. It's always nice to see an underdog bringing unusual, niche games to market at a likable price.

    Sega for sonic, yakuza , valkyria chronicles to name a few
    Eidos for hitman series
    Bethesda for fallout
    Sony for uncharted, god of war,ico,shadow of colossus

    Voted for Blizzard due to the polish they put on practically every game released (and will delay games till they're really happy they're ready!).

    No Nintendo though? Surely they should be an option?

    BioWare and Valve for me. Both have never let me down, ever.

    It's definitely a tough one as different publishers tend to get different things right.

    Paradox as mentioned for grand strategy, Bioware for story, Valve/Blizzard for polish, EA for sports etc.

    Publisher it would have to be Xseed and Atlus.

    As for developers it would be Atlus, Platinum and Treasure.

    Valve. There's really no question of it for me. It's Valve.

    Then I guess Nintendo just because I love Zelda, but mostly Valve. If we're talking defunct companies too then maybe Westwood and Bullfrog above Nintendo, but still bellow Valve.

    Having to make just one choice is tough but I went for Rockstar. I've genuinely enjoyed and anticipated nearly every title they've released. Except Table tennis. but they all have a few missteps
