    Hi

I have 40+ male relative living in the country. His social life has taken a nose dive, so was wondering does anyone know of any social clubs or any kinda of clubs that he could join to get to know other people in a similiar sitution.

    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Regards

    Maggie Mc

Local GAA if he is into sports
Local book club, usually in the local library
Being a male they seem to bond well over beer, go to his local with a paper sit at the bar and read someone will strike a conversation soon enough
Does he have any hobbies/ interests? Can look for clubs based on his interest.
Theres also a wbsite meetup.com he can find various groups based on interests/profesion in his locality...

can he sing at all? he could look at joining a choir or musical society. reasonably enjoyable not too much work after the first year. cheap enough too if money is tight.

there are walking clubs if he likes the outdoors.
