If you got nothing planned this sunday, the IWDG are hosting their annual whale watch event throughout various headlands along the irish coast.

The crowd who turned up at Bray got great views of 3 bottlenose dolphins feeding along the seafront. I was out fishing and they popped up about 20 metres from the boat:D

I was up there at the bottom of Bray head and saw them too. They very conveniently turned up as the girl from the IWDG was only 10 minutes into her spiel, spotted by one of the participants.

The 3 Bottlenose Dolphins are still hanging around Killiney Bay. Great views from the north pier at Bray Harbour. They were putting on a great show today - some stills from my crappy video camera below! Bring binoculars if you're going to have a look.

Saw the Dolphins at Bray for the first time myself this morning while walking the dogs on the seafront. Magnificent sight. There was an Eastern European family sitting on the rocks at the groine at the harbour end out of line of sight. I told them what they were missing. All they had to do was step a few feet away from the rocks to see them. They and their kids were absolutely thrilled :D I was bullin' that I hadn't brought my binoculars though. :D
