Car key bent

    My car key is slighty bent. Any way too unbend it.

    Put it in a vice and tighten it gently. Thats what I did when I bent my key trying to force it into a frozen lock last winter.

    Second this if it's ok get it copied and use the copy. Or failing that just use the old key with care.

    just put it on a flat surface and hit it with a hammer, it wont break.

    I was thinking that. But don't want too break it. Its about a 1-2mm bent. Its just hard too turn the key too start the car.
    It works fine other wise.

    I hope you don't try this, and suggesting that isn't really that funny. If that's the last copy of the key, your going to be looking over 300+ to replace the key depend on the car.

    Thats to get a new key when ya haven't one. I paid €60 for a copy of mine but its an old car, none of this remote locking and whatnot, but I wouldn't imagine it'd cost €300 for a copy.
