Im looking for one on one lessons. Im in Dublin 12 a member of Carlisle pool could meet there or Crumlin pool or some other pool on southside not too far. Ive been swimming a lot for years. I did a weekend intermediate course for tri swimmers last year. I know what I should be doing but there are some flaws in my technique - in particular my catch isnt right. Im really interested in someone who can help me refine the technique - dont want to be just going up and down relentlessly as do that all the time.
    PM if you can recommend.

I've wanted one on one lessons for an age. Noticed my gym do them for €25 a pop but I'm not entirely sure the 'coaches' are any good.

Could anyone tell me what general price of 1on1 lessons would be? or for a small group of say 3 or 4? Just so I know I'm not being ripped off.

around 30e for 30min would be an average in Dublin. I would charge you 35 euro for 40 min and I believe I would be the one being ripped off ;) can't help you with group lessons, remember that there usually is a reason why some swimming pools are able to offer much lower prices, you get what you pay for. Best thing to do would be to talk to your new teacher and ask him how does he likes working there and what level of qualifications he has ;)

    Hi all,

Mespil swimming pool do private lessons for all age groups and levels (located in south dublin, just beside leeson st. bridge, very close to town) - www.mespilpool.com

I teach group lessons and private lessons for all ages, levels and abilities.

Each lesson lasts 45 minutes and are quite intense. We usually teach these lessons outside of public hours, so they are great for anyone who may feel conscious of others in the pool. Booking one lesson costs €50 and if you pay for 4 upfront, it will cost €180.

Send me a message if you are interested and would like to know more!

    Thanks,
    Liz
