    Could you please advise where is the 2005 Toyota Avensis Strata 1.6 Engine Number located ?

    I think its either on the left side or back of the engine block.
    If you're inept car-wise I'd be getting the car checked out independently for previous accident damage etc. A replaced engine in itself isn't necessarily a bad thing and very uncommon on this car. A history check will only tell so much.

    Any link to the car in mind?

    Yesterday I bought a 2005 Avensis 1.6 Strata, And did the history check. All seems ok, however - honestly i dont know the location of Engine number to verify aganist the Document.- just to keep my mind safe :)
