Dubai 2 Week Holiday

    Hey

    Thinking of going to Dubai with my g/f in Sept for 2 weeks. Anyone have any opinions on it?

    Is it worth going for 2 weeks. Is there much to do/see etc? Both of us are 26

    Unless you are really into shopping, forget it! OK for a few days stopover, but 2 weeks is definitely too much.

    What steve-o said. It's waaay too much. I had a 20-hour stopover there, and obviously wish I had more time to get to know the place, but not much more.

    Why not fly with Emirates to somewhere like Thailand, China, Japan, India etc. for two weeks and arrange a few days in Dubai on the way back. Usually costs nothing extra because you have to change there anyway. The stopover booking page on their website is really good actually.

    Etihad from Dublin via Abu Dhabi to Sri Lanka. Stop off, either outgoing to returning, Dubai is 90 mins from Abu Dhabi.
