Short term insurance?

Hi and thanks for taking the time to read this.

Ok from tomorrow onwards ill be part taking in a charity even for the imnda, which is a charity cycle from malin head to mizen head over four to five days which im doing support driver for. Im currently insured on a private policy with 123.ie and naively thought id be able to switch my insurance over to a commercial van for the few days I now know I cant. Instead of taking out a new year long policy and then cancelling it which is looking likely ill have to do. Im wondering does anyone know anywhere that does short term policys? Or any other ways around this?

Yer pretty snookered Im afraid if 123 wont cover you.

Only hope would be to rent a van from a hire company however they could well be arsey as you currently have private insurance.
