    Hi,

I finished Applied Social Studies in Sligo IT in 2010. I did the 4 years, therefore I have collected a few books over the years.

    1. Applied Social Care: An introduction for Students in Ireland by Share and Lalor (2nd edition). Like new
    2. A Sociology of Ireland by Share, Tovey and Corcoran (3rd edition). the 4th one is out soon in August, but they didn't change too much and the new one will be 50 Euro whereas I will not even look for half of that :). Has some writing in it.
    3. Sociology: A Global Introduction by Plummer and Macionis (3rd edition), there is a 4th one out, but this is still good.
    4. Stress and Trauma by Resick.
    5. An Introduction to Irish Family Law by Nestor (3rd edition).
    6. Social Care in Ireland: theory, Policy and Practice by O'Connor and Murphy.
    7. The Patient and the Analyst by Sandler, Dare and Holder. Has a lot of highlighting in it.
    8. Ethics for Social Care in Ireland by Charleton
    9. Social Research Methods by Bryman (3rd edition), like new :p
    10. Managing without profit: The art of managing third sector organisations by Hudson (2nd edition), like new.
    11. An Introduction to Object Relations by Gomez, has a lot of highlighting too.
    12. Care and Social Change in the Irish Welfare Economy by Fanning and Rush.
    13. Equality from Theory to action by Baker, Lynch, Cantillon and Walsh.
    14. Theory and Practice of Counselling Psychotherapy by Corey (8th edition).
    15. Understanding Childhood an interdisciplinary approach by Woodhead and Montgomery
    16. Ethics in Practice by LaFollette (3rd edition).
    17. Abnormal Psychology by Kring, Davison, Neale and Johson (10th edition).
    18. The International Political Economy of Work and Employability by Moore
    19. Introduction to International Relations Theories and Approaches by Jackson and Sorensen (4th edition).
    20. The Causes of War by Sobek.

So hopefully someone is interested in these books, cheaper than buying them new.

I think you can post notes on the noticeboards around the college, but sure most of the time people don't even look at them. Also some college student unions take them and sell them and when they sell you get some of the money, but as far as I know Sligo IT Student Union does not do that (I stand corrected).
