A spot for a caravan for the Rose of Tralee!

    Hi all.

There's a friend of ours competing in the Rose of Tralee next week. A few of us said we'd go down and support her and take a mini-break in this fair country of ours. To that end, we're planning on bringing our caravan.

Unfortunately every berth in the caravan parks is flat booked out, so we're wondering is there another way to come at this accommodation situation? I know some of the GAA clubs used to open up their facilities for tents and caravans for the few days, we're wondering are they planning on doing the same again this year?

Any information would be most appreciated, either way it's going to be a brilliant few days.

I would try the tourist office.

if you didn't mind the drive you could try around banna, ballyheuige and around the maherees for camp sites
