hi, i got some clothes from a cousin at the weekend, & in the mix was a salmon/ red shirt by Ralph Lauren. it is marked a size 8 so i'm wondering what does this mean? is this the mens sizing or a boy? had a look online, & saw that the boys sizing might be marked S (8) but the tag on my shirt is just 8 !!

any help or advice on this would be much appreciated !!
