Could be wrong but think most if not all NG's have the eyebrow windows removed.

The flightdeck also needs more crumbs and coffee stains to look realistic.:p

It's totally configurable so you can choose to remove the eyebrow windows if you want. The configuration is dependent on the Livery you load up - so with FR you have their options and no HUGS system. You can change it if you want though.

As for dirt and all that - it's there! The screens & MCP have oil smudges from fingerprints, speckles of dust and there's wear and tear all over the place.

Check out this video for an insight into what it's like

One difference i spotted to a brand new real NG we took delivery of a while back is the NAV control panel is a keypad select, not the knobs. Now this may be customer specific but it aint in the game.

Do you mean the EFIS control knobs or the Nav/Comm panel?

Why did the eyebrows get removed? Glare? What was the point of them in the first place i wonder.

Part of the reason they were removed was to reduce the noise, apparantly the 737NG flight deck is far more quiet than the 737 classic. I don't have first hand experience of the classic but the NG flight-deck is very noisy. Boeing say by removing the "eye-brow" windows, the aircraft is now lighter and requires less time for maintenance inspections

    Boeing Next-Generation 737 Gets a Face-Lift

SEATTLE, Jan. 26, 2005 -- Boeing [NYSE:BA] this week rolled out its first 737 without eyebrow windows, the four small windows above the front windshield. In the past the eyebrow windows helped provide better crew visibility, but today's advanced navigation systems have made those windows obsolete. The design change reduces airplane weight by 20 pounds and eliminates approximately 300 hours of periodic inspections per airplane. Retrofit kits to cover eyebrow windows will be available mid-2006 for the in-service 737 fleet.

Still seen in some military varients

A320 that must be an option with Boeing because our brand new NG's dont have that push button design.
