    Hi all,
I've heard good things about Club La Santa and I'm thinking of heading over for a week for running specific training (and a break). Anyone been that can make recommendations? Who did you fly with? Did you get a one on one coach or train as a group?

    TIA

    Eoin

Went over earlier in the year.Nothing much to do but train and eat.
Roads really bad for running,be more a place for a triathlete.
There are groups int he morning that meet with mixed levels.
Some events to partake in if you want that???

I got mine through sportstravel but was cheaper booking through the UK,I always try give money to an irish company but couldn't understand why i got quoted 150euro cheaper int he UK.

Was in Peurto del Carmen for a holiday and we cycled up there one day for a look out of curiosity. Nice enough setup, 6 lane track and good facilities. I remember it being quite remote though with just a village or 2 nearby and lava fields as far as the eye can see. Seemed to be a regular bus between Arrecife (airport) and LaSanta.

Gang from our club have done the Running Challenge for past few years in November. Fours days (Sun->Wed) and four races (10km, 12km trail, 5km Beach and a Half Marathon). Good craic for the days when the races are on.
