    Hi,
as the title says I've been driving around on my own now for a while on a learners permit.
If I was to get stopped by a guard, what would they say?
If I was in an accident, what would the outcome be seeing as I was on my own?(i.e didnt have someone with 2 years full license.)

Started driving around this time last year, bought my own car in January and have been pretty much driving on my own since April(without my parents knowing)

    Thanks Guys!

Depends on the Guard really, less chance of a local garda doing anything as opposed to a traffic guard. Its a gamble tbh.

Again it depends on the insurer and if your fully comp or not. Usually they pay out or so I hear.

Well I assume that you don't live at home as it would be the impossible to keep it from your parents so in that case it's none of their business.

As far as I know its a €1,000 fine and another €1,000 fine if no L plates are displayed. All you need is in this thread
