Every advert I see on donedeal these days seems to have 'will do good cash deal' on them. Lots of Mitsubishi and Honda ads in particular has this statement.. Your hardly gonna take a cheque on a private sale are ya?
Will do good cash deal? Thats like saying 'will sell for money' OR Does it mean you would consider 17 crates of banannas instead as a reasonable deal.

In the context of selling cars, 'cash deal' means no trade-in.

I'm more curious about the mental state of the Colt owner if he thinks that thing is worth anywhere near €2k. I've seen cars rotting in fields that look in better condition than that.

No experience of selling anything through the Web, but would have thought that cash would be mandatory?

As Anan1 explained "cash" in the sense of buying/selling cars means a straight deal (no trade in or swaps), nothing to do with the method of payment.
