Phone Signal

Have a nexus s and i find that the phone signal is not great. My old phone had better strength and my OH iPhone has better signal where we live. Seems when people are trying to call me they cant get through a lot of times and when i am on the phone it drops the call even though there is decent signal(2/3 bars)l. I also find WiFi signal bad. I don't know if this is problem with the phone or just my phone. I am thinking of changing phones( as i got the nexus free) as i cant put up anymore with this but i would prefer not too.I was thinking of Galaxy 2 but Samsung make that phone too and i would be afraid of same issue. Would HTC be better? All suggestions appreciated thanks.

I also have Nexus S. Wifi is known to be poor. I have had no probs with phone signal. I dont know but i would think the Galaxy 2 has same/similar hardware as Nexusso may also give you the same problems. Someone here should be able to confirm this for you here.

Just tested my phone in work against another on same network. They are getting 65dBm while my phone is getting 99. Time to change I think.
