Looking for Shimano shifters 3 speed and 9 speed to go with a new SLX rear mech. Oops! MTB shifters :)

May be interested in swap / p.ex for 7 speed breaks and shifters set-up or SRAM system, platform pedals or other bits and bobs. Cinelli Track bars loads of stuff...

    Hi,
Are you saying you have a sram gear system at present? If so why the SLX rear mech? I have a new X-7 Sram rear mech (1:1 Actuation) incompatable with my Shimano 8Sp shifters.I am looking for a SLX rear mech possible swap.

Sorry, looking for 9 speed shifters. Would have considered switching to SRAM if I could get the shifters and mech.

Probably just going to get them from CRC at this stage.

I've a set of Shimano R440 27 speed shifters. They are from a flat-bar road bike, I'm not sure of compatibility with MTB mechs.

They've been used for less than 500km.

I'd give them a try. I don't see why they wouldn't work. Are they just the shifter pods without the break leavers?

    Can we do a deal?

Yes, just the shifters, no brake levers. They are like these but in black.

    €45 for the pair?

The Deore versions are €35 which I suppose is the MTB version of Tiagra.
    They look similar enough..

Anyway it appears that the front shifter is only compatible with certain front mechs R440 derallieur for example. So I guess we're both **** out of luck!
