Has anyone used the card while abroad? I don't have a credit card and was thinking of getting one of these. Off on a RTW trip in October and thought one of these would be a good idea. It takes roughly 5 working days for money to be transferred to the card while abroad but instant if you get someone to do it from home. I'll…

Has anyone used the card while abroad? I don't have a credit card and was thinking of getting one of these. Off on a RTW trip in October and thought one of these would be a good idea. It takes roughly 5 working days for money to be transferred to the card while abroad but instant if you get someone to do it from home. I'll have a laser card as well but thought having something like this would be good for emergencies and booking things online etc. I'll be pre-loading a few hundred onto it before I go too.

i figure it would be handy for India, Thailand and Indonesia and would be handy enough when we settle in NZ in the new year.
