    Hi ESB,

Just a quick query, do you have any plans such as apps that monitor household usage etc? I remember seeing an ad for some provider in the UK that are giving a physical unit to all its customers for free and access to iPad apps etc.

PS. As for the leccy, you guys rock!!

    Hi Chris,

We have a new app due for release very soon - along the lines of the Appliance Calculator on our website, which allows you to:
    • Estimate how much your home electrical appliances and lights cost to run
    • Compare the cost of using appliances in different ways (e.g. washing clothes at 40 °C versus 60 °C)
    • See the positive impact of using your appliances wisely (e.g. using a small ring on your stovetop versus a larger one)
We'll certainly let you know when it's available, and as with our Meter Reading Apps, it will be available for both the Apple and Android OS.
PS. As for the leccy, you guys rock!!

Very nice of you to say so Chris, thanks very much! :)

    David.

Good stuff buzzz buzz (that was the sound of me buzzing off your leccy! :))

However, any plans for a physical unit that would monitor usage in real time? giving them out for free in the UK they cant be that expensive?

    Hi Chris,

We have a device that monitors individual appliances, it is available in the ESB store and can be viewed here

    Thanks,
