Has anyone see Jeremy Staunton play this season? What form is he in?

Hopefully he's commentating again on Setanta's RWC coverage. He and Nigel Starmer-Smith were an excellent pair together on the mike.

Bit early to ask isn't it? The Tigers are only playing their pre-season games atm.

Strange question this early in the season.

The same could be asked of numberous other Irish players.

Isn't he still with Leicester. As for form this season, most clubs have only played one pre season game so far.

I thought he did well for the Tigers last season. Kicks his goals and distributes nicely he's good back up material but you wouldn't want to be depending on him week in week out

According to Wikpedia he is with Leicester til the end of this season. With Flood away at the World Cup and on England duty he could get a good few games this season. The only other out halves in the squad are George Ford and Billy Twelvetrees.

Came into the thread with the intention of saying something similar. He's an excellent commentator. I used to love his commentary on the T14 for Setanta long before I realised who it was doing it.

Deeply flawed player as he is, I always thought he was treated quite harshly by EOS.

    I thought Twelvethrees was a 12?

When I said 'this' I meant 'last' season.

    Apologies.

so is Wallace but like Wallace he is the second five eights and can cover 10 better than wallace though
