Looking to see what people think of this course ?

Thinking about doing this. By the time it comes around i'll have done three tri sprints and a couple of aquathons, so i'm thinking about pushing the boat out for the last one. Is it a beast of a course ? Is it tough as Olympic tri's go ?

I did it last year and the weather was terrible, making it quite a tough day out. I suspect it's a lovely course if the sun is out and the wind isn't blowing.

The swim is well sheltered, and I don't remember it being any easier or harder than any other race last year (it was a bit short of 1500m last year). The cycle was tough; the course is on a peninsula and kicks off by going up a steep hill, and then its rolling/flat but if there's a strong wind you're fairly exposed so have to put in a good bit of effort. The run was on mixed terrain (roads, up one steep hill towards the start, and across a section of sand), so some of it will suit you and some of it wont depending on where you usually train :)

It's a great course and was well organized. Brilliant way to finish off the season.
